Iveda® (NASDAQ: IVDA), a global leader in video intelligence solutions, today announced a long-term partnership with Abitronix, a global technology advisory and professional services company, and the official launch of AbitronixAI, Powered by Iveda. Through this new initiative, Abitronix will bring IvedaAI to its established network of customers and partners throughout the New York tri-state region while creating a foundation for broader market expansion.

The partnership expands on work already underway with the NYC Government. What began with applications such as facial recognition, weapons detection, and smoke and fire detection has since expanded to include unattended-object monitoring, natural language search, and custom models for vessel detection. This ongoing work supports the local government’s longer-term vision to scale AI video intelligence.

“We are incredibly proud that our work together began with the NYC Government,” said Hugo E. Almeida, CEO of Abitronix. “That experience showed us what is possible when we listen first, learn what organizations truly need, and build alongside them. Now, we intend to carry that momentum across the tri-state region, beginning with our home state of New Jersey, the most densely populated and digitally connected state in the country, where a single agency may oversee tens of thousands of cameras across the communities it serves. At that scale, agencies do not need more raw footage; they need actionable intelligence that helps them understand what is happening and respond in real time.”

The partnership will also extend into academia through Abitronix Labs, launching first at Kean University. The lab will give students hands-on exposure to IvedaAI and other cutting-edge technologies, directly connecting classroom learning with practical applications across business, AI, cybersecurity, and physical security. Hugo E. Almeida, a Kean alumnus and member of the College of Business and Public Management’s Board of Advisors, will also host a class supporting the initiative. Kean serves as the inaugural location in a growing global network of Abitronix Labs, with additional university partnerships currently in development.

“The Kean University Center for Cybersecurity — recognized by the National Security Agency as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense education — is committed to giving students real-world experiential learning in cybersecurity, cybercrime, and physical security,” said Stan Mierzwa, Ph.D., CISSP, Director of the Kean University Center for Cybersecurity. “Through internships, externships, and scholarships, students work alongside our professors and industry partners to build the competencies they need to hit the ground running. Introducing them to AI tools that integrate with physical security systems is exactly the kind of hands-on experience that prepares them for today’s workforce.”

The initiative comes as the global video analytics market is projected to grow from $14.65 billion in 2026 to $41.39 billion by 2031, underscoring the need for future professionals to gain hands-on experience with the AI technologies shaping the industry.

“Abitronix gives Iveda a trusted presence in the tri-state region, backed by the consultative expertise and relationships required to move complex projects forward,” said David Ly, CEO and founder of Iveda. “Hugo and his team understand how to begin with an agency’s objectives and shape the technology around its operating environment, making them an ideal partner for IvedaAI’s long-term growth. Just as importantly, this partnership will put IvedaAI in the hands of university students around the world preparing for careers across business, AI, cybersecurity, and physical security, giving them firsthand experience with technology already addressing real-world challenges.”

On November 10, 2026, in Mesa, Arizona, Hugo E. Almeida, members of the Abitronix team, and public service stakeholders will attend the live flight demonstration of Iveda’s long-range GX11 unmanned helicopter. The invitation-only event is co-hosted by Iveda’s Strategic Government Partner, GlobalMed®, and will bring together representatives from federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as government and defense contractors, strategic partners, and prospective users evaluating autonomous aerial technology for mission-critical operations.

Organizations throughout the tri-state region interested in exploring how AbitronixAI, Powered by Iveda, can support their operations can contact Abitronix at info@abitronix.com to schedule a consultation.
